Lutheran Schools Week

March 8th - March 12th

Proclaiming God's work and love for us through Christ as we celebrate the opportunity to attend Zion Lutheran School.

Monday, March 8th

Dress Up Day:  Dress Like an Animal Day.  Dress up like your favorite animal (no face paint)

Activity:  Individual classes OR grade grouping will go on a virtual field trip!

Tuesday, March 9th

Dress Up Day:  Holiday Dress Day. Dress up with tops and bottoms from your favorite holiday!

Activity:  Board game afternoon.  Students will play board games in their individual classrooms in the afternoon.

Wednesday, March 10th

Dress Up Day:  Senior Citizen Day.  Students will dress up as if they are from an older, more mature generation!

Activity:  Service project.  We will be putting together thank you/care bags for the essential workers at Heritage Memory Care on Lisbon Rd.   Each class will bring an item to contribute; the list will go out next week.  Our goal is 100 bags.

Thursday, March 11th

Dress Up Day:  Career Day.  Dress up as what you would like to be when you grow up.

Activity:  Movie in the gym.  We will sit in our class groups like in chapel.  Students may bring a blanket or camp chair as long as they can fold up their chair and carry it on their own.  SORRY NO TENTS!  A factory-sealed snack will be provided.

Friday, March 12th

Dress Up Day:  Pajama Day.  Come in your PJs.  Nightgowns must have leggings underneath.  All shirts must have a sleeve.  No slippers.


  1. Continental Breakfast.  Students will receive muffin, string cheese, bagel, etc.
  2. Read-a-thon and book related activities in each classroom throughout the morning.

If you and/or your child decide to not participate in the day’s special dress, they will need to be in Zion dress code!
